Library News and Events
Welcome back to everyone! There is something beautiful about the beginning of a new school year. During the heat of summer, everything seems to wilt a little, to squint in the brilliant and oppressive heat where even the sounds around campus wither and withdraw to the coolness of the shade. Conservation of quietude could be a byline of summers in Florida, but the autumn, at least to me, has always signified a rejuvenation, a reawakening. The youth and vigor of college campuses return in a flurry of questions, from “Forty pages of homework…per class?!?” to “There’s really a mechanical elephant on the third floor of the library?”
Here at the R. A. Williams Library, a new school year means we get to take part in the educational process again by helping students to understand what we have to offer. Have you checked out our fabu-tastic APA citation guide? Our stupen-dacular interactive digital anatomical model system? Or how about our killer Aquabrowser catalog? All these tools are now at your disposal, and if you need to know how to use them, stop by the R. A. Williams Library and we’ll happily help you out!
The Library is hosting an open house today from 12:00 to 1:00 pm this afternoon. Please stop by and take a look at all we have to offer!
