- Be selective: Review citations carefully and request only materials that seem most useful.
- Provide a complete citation. Supply as much information as you can regarding author, title, publisher, date, and other pertinent citation information.
- Always list the source of your citation: Be as specific as possible in naming the database or other source of your citation.

- Check that requested materials are in a language in which you have reading proficiency.
- Check to see that your contact information is correct.
- Submit only one request per form.
