How To Speed Up An ILL Request

  • Be selective: Review citations carefully and request only materials that seem most useful.
  • Provide a complete citation. Supply as much information as you can regarding author, title, publisher, date, and other pertinent citation information.
  • Always list the source of your citation: Be as specific as possible in naming the database or other source of your citation.
  • Check our Online Catalog to see if the desired item is in our library. For assistance in searching, please contact one of our librarians or contact the online Ask a Librarian.
  • Check that requested materials are in a language in which you have reading proficiency.
  • Check to see that your contact information is correct.
  • Submit only one request per form.
